The Culture and Leisure Committee

Part of the vision for Rebild Municipality is to support and encourage a vivid and varied cultural life and leisure. Therefore the Culture and Leisure Committee is responsible for a number of cultural institutions and the support of a large number of hobby and sports clubs and associations.

The libraries in Rebild Municipality are the responsibility of the Committee. So is the Culture School, which is a school of music, drama and art, and the Youth School, which is a leisure-time school for young people between 14 and 18. The Nature School in the Jutland Forest Garden is run in collaboration with the State Forest District.
Besides the support of a wide range of hobby- and sports associations, Rebild Municipality also supports cultural events such as Opera in the Rebild Hills.
